Parent/Teacher conferences are beneficial to your child's progress. Telephone conversations cannot take the place of a Parent/Teacher conference at school. On each progress report and report card sent home, there is a place for both the teacher and the parent to indicate a request for a conference. If you feel the need for a conference at any time, contact the teacher to request an appointment. Parents are encouraged to meet with their child's teacher prior to requesting a meeting with administration to discuss their child's progress. Teacher planning time and classroom teaching time cannot be interrupted for unscheduled conferences.
